French people seem to prefer working in a quite strong hierarchical way or better to say patriarchal… Decisions have been mainly taken by the manager and not by the people in charge of the related function.I have often the feeling when working with French managers,that deviating opinions or exceptions are not really welcome… I often had the impression that my way of participation has been perceived as unfriendly or nearly to say as annoying. This was and is still sometimes strange to me, because the German management style is more cooperative / democratic.”
