From SPAIN about THE UK

“When our company bought a company in the UK we had our first big cultural clash. It seemed that they didn´t like us at all and although they really were not very happy with the acquisition finally we learned that it was just the way they usually behave. That human coldness made the common work a little bit uncomfortable. Brief mails, not last minute favors… “… also when we visited their headquarters we found rude their habits (for example, not stopping for lunch and give you a banana and a machine sandwich to eat!) … Finally we improved our work procedures and also they became more flexible. Now we hope many times that some Spanish mates would be British!”
